Yee is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor who believes that “everyone is the author of their own stories.” He sees human connection as essential to healing, and creates a collaborative, respectful, and attuned space where clients and their family can connect, heal, and grow.

Yee holds a Master of Education in Counselling and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto. His integrative approach draws from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, combined with the wisdom of oriental Zen philosophy. Raised in the southern part of China, Yee’s childhood was filled with old Cantonese songs, animations, family gatherings, and humid summer days. Over the last ten years, he has served students across multiple universities and worked extensively with newcomers to Canada, also contributing to community leadership as Vice President of the Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society.
